Problem:

Brands and creators lacked a single, streamlined platform to discover partners, manage campaigns, and measure performance in one place. Existing tools were fragmented, requiring teams to switch between platforms for outreach, tracking, and analytics.

The goal was to design a 0–1 mobile MVP that validated core value for both brands and influencers, while laying the groundwork for scalable analytics and campaign management features.

Solution:

The product was built from scratch, with no existing UX patterns or user data.

  • The app needed to support 3 distinct user types (brands, creators and recruiters) with different goals and workflows.

  • User flows were inherently complex, spanning onboarding, discovery, campaign setup, collaboration, and reporting.

  • Analytics requirements involving performance metrics, attribution, and campaign insights.

  • The MVP needed to balance speed to market with long-term technical and design scalability.

  • Close coordination with engineering was required to ensure designs were technically feasible within MVP constraints.

Challenge:

One of the main challenges is achieving a harmonious balance between complexity and simplicity. The prisms must be arranged in a way that feels dynamic and engaging, yet not chaotic or cluttered.

Summary:

I approached the project as a collaborative, systems-driven design effort, working closely with engineers and stakeholders from the outset.

  • Partnered with engineering to define MVP scope, identifying which features were critical for validation versus deferrable.

  • Designed flows incrementally, focusing on core task completion rather than exhaustive edge cases.

  • Collaborated with engineers to understand data models and analytics constraints, ensuring designs aligned with backend realities.
